Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have several years of experience as an emergency and critical care technician. Less experienced candidates and recent graduates will be considered for entry level positions and are also encouraged to apply.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in excelling in this profession.  Ideally applicants should be VTS certified in ECC or have this as a definitive professional goal. We are looking for candidates that will contribute proactive feedback so that together we can always make this hospital and your work environment a great place for everyone.

Employee Benefits

We have an excellent benefits and employee rewards programs.  We pay 100% of the monthly premium for a low deductible comprehensive health and dental care plan.  We have a simple IRA retirement plan with employer matched contributions.  Your continued education is very important to us, so we offer you a CE stipend of $750.00 per year or $1500.00 every other year. We have a pet health care stipend that starts at $1500.00 per year and will grow every year for up to $3000.00 per year after four years of employment with us.  If the stipend is exceeded your care will still be discounted by 50%.  Preventative care like vaccines, heartworm medications, prescriptions medications and food can be purchased at cost.  Two weeks of paid time off is offered per year which will increase every year for up to three weeks paid time off per year.  We pay license fees and VECCS memberships.  We also honor long term employment with additional rewards the longer you are with us.

We will offer a generous relocation and a signing bonus to qualified candidates.

This position does require employees to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Client Service Representative

Are you self motivated, enjoy multitasking, and thrive in fast paced environment? Than this is the job for you! We have a part-time (18hrs- 25hrs, 2-3 days a week) client care representative opening at Alpenglow Veterinary Specialty + Emergency Center in Boulder, CO. This position is for the emergency department, and will require nights, weekends, and holiday hours. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who loves or is interested in working with animals, and people under one roof. We are looking for someone who prides themselves in giving the utmost care to clients, and in this case, to their furry pals as well. You must be comfortable talking to clients on the phone with a mastery of phone etiquette. This job can be very busy, and stressful at times, and being able to keep the flow of the hospital running through individual work, and teamwork is key.  This position has the potential for upward mobility within the company and continued education and growth is supported.

This position also offers the potential for full-time in the future along with full-time benefits including full healthcare coverage. Some part time benefits are available.  Highly competitive hourly wage is also offered for this position.

Requirements/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Proficient with computers (PC).

Animal experience is preferred, but not required.
