Gretchen Ford

Gretchen grew up in a small town on Lake Michigan. She has a love for animals that frequently had her bringing home stray kittens and wildlife. In 2011 Gretchen graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology with her AAS. After graduating, Gretchen worked in the busy, challenging world of emergency medicine, where she enjoyed the constant change of pace and challenging medical cases that she saw.

Gretchen worked as a relief technician for RMVC for some time before coming on board as a full time cardiology technician in 2016. She enjoys the challenge of working in a new specialty. She is passionate about helping her sick patients get better and loves seeing her clients devote their time and affection to their pets.

You will usually find Gretchen outdoors in her spare time, with her two dogs – Casey and Frankie. Gretchen is also a volunteer at a local Donkey Shelter that advocates for Donkey rehabilitation and adoption.
